WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME
YOU TO SQUASH IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK!
The
Buffalo Squash Racquets Association is the governing body for squash in
the Buffalo area. Our
association is a non-profit organization and is a district of the United
States Squash Racquets Association.

The
BSRA’s Executive Committee devotes most of its energy to promotion of
squash in Western New York, with great emphasis on the expansion and
development of junior programs and membership services.
This committee also organizes all the city leagues and

BSRA members not affiliated with the following
clubs/schools will be considered non-affiliated members: Buffalo
Tennis and Squash Club, Saturn Club, Buffalo Club, Jewish Center,
Allentown Athletix, Nichols School, GOW School.. (If other school
teams that have no courts of their own, can associate
with a club that will let them reciprocate BSRA League matches,
they will be considered "affiliated" members and will not be subject
to the $50 surcharge).
Because non-affiliated members cannot host matches at their own
club, the additional annual charge of $50.00 for members will
help defray any costs incurred by clubs/schools hosting
non-club-affiliated members’ matches. The aggregated fees will be
distributed, at seasons end, among clubs/schools that supported the league
matches .
Only Saturn Club, Buffalo Club, the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club,
Nichols and GOW School members have their dues billed through their club/school at this time.
To participate in any BSRA leagues, tournaments, or sanctioned
events, you must be a BSRA member.
A membership form may be downloaded (see above). If you are a new member, please
fill it out and return this form to Mary Sellers-Pici, address listed on
form. If you are a current member, please review the membership form and make any appropriate changes and send to
Mary. If you do not wish to renew your membership please contact
Mary to
remove your name from our membership list..
If we do not hear from you, your membership will
automatically be renewed.
In addition to the benefits listed, a calendar is available to
each member on the BSRA Web which includes seasonal information
regarding all events sanctioned by the BSRA. A membership directory
is also available.
We are also looking for new faces to volunteer their time, to
help shape our events, and contribute new and interesting ideas for
our organization. If you would be interested in volunteering on any
of our committees, please call Peter Ahrens, or any Executive
Committee
member anytime. They look forward to helping you get involved.
Buffalo has a rich history of contributions to the game of
squash, and a strong involvement with all levels of squash, both
locally and nationally. We hope you will enjoy all aspects of our
association and all it has to offer. Any questions regarding
membership or any of our squash activities please contact anyone on
the Executive Committee anytime.
Please enjoy your membership and this great game we all love to
play!
See you on the Courts!
